However, now the actor has broken his silence on people’s trolling and those who called his daughter’s marriage ‘love jihad’.
Shatrughan said- people will say something, it is people’s job to say
Shatrughan Sinha has given a befitting reply to those who opposed his daughter’s marriage and made wrong comments. The actor gave an interview to Times Now after Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding. During this, the veteran actor said, “Anand Bakshi sahab has written about such professional opponents, ‘Kuch toh log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna’. To this I would like to add, ‘If the one who says is useless, useless, then saying itself becomes work.’ He further said, “My daughter has not done anything illegal or unconstitutional.”
Further, the actor said, “Marriage is a very personal decision between two people. No one has the right to interfere or comment on it. I tell all those who oppose it – go, live life. Do something useful in your life and I have nothing else to say.”
Posters put up against Sonakshi – threats were received to not let her enter Bihar
Right after the wedding, there was a protest against Sonakshi Sinha and Shatrughan Sinha in Bihar. ‘Hindu Shiv Bhavani Sena’ expressed its protest by putting up posters against Sonakshi and her father. It was written in the poster that this marriage is promoting ‘love jihad’ and is a conspiracy to Islamize the country. Apart from this, it was also written in the poster that Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter will not be allowed to enter Bihar.
